damnflandrz - couldn't agree more, and what I was really impressed with was the fact that they didn't manuipulate the story in any way to fit the songs. The songs were just put in and sometimes worked (see coming post!) and sometimes didnt, but hey - what did it matter! I must admit to having a 'hair standing on the back of the neck' moment several times while watching it - it was great seeing the story told in a way people could relate to and I'm convinced (no research done - just a hunch) that some people who went for the buzz would have been turned on to the Jesus story and to discovering more about such a compelling man. T'was great )in my humble opinion!)!

I can tell you that as I gave out leaflets about Jesus after the end of the production, telling the folk it was about CHRIST - every single person except for about 3 took the leaflets and thanked us. We had an indepth talk with some young people who were ignorant of yet very open to hear the good news
Is it a sign of the last days that such a public declaration of the Christ was made in the streets of one of the most needy cities in our country. God is calling all men everywhere to repent to avoid the judgments that must inevitably come on the wickedness that is rampant in our country.
Manchester, like Ninevah in ancient biblical times, can repent and be restored to the CREATOR GOD
God will use whatever vehicle he needs to to speak out about HIS GREAT SALVATION so that all might come to the knowledge of HIS SON/THE TRUTH.....this time it was the BBC not a donkey as in ancient times when GOD was trying to bring a misguided prophet of Israel to his senses!
Bring on more open proclamation of the GLORIOUS GOSPEL!
