So is 'this statement' from the Church of England a case of "well said' or last ditch wishful thinking and covering over the cracks? I tend to think that there is a lot of truth in the statement and particularly in how church statistics are unfairly compared to those of other faith communities, but it's also a little bit too early to be patting ourselves on the backs! Nice to see a mention of chaplaincies alongside fresh expressions too!
